Eye of the Sea – the most beautiful Tatra postcard live
If you want to see a truly impressive place during your stay in Zakopane, add Morskie Oko to your list. It is a large mountain lake surrounded by high peaks – the view is peaceful, austere and very “Tatra-like”. Once there, you can simply sit by the water, walk along the shore and enjoy the panorama, which needs no filters.
It’s a great plan for a day trip: a bit of exercise, lots of nature and satisfaction guaranteed (your legs will remember it too, so comfortable shoes are welcome). If you want to avoid the biggest crowds, it’s best to go in the morning or on a weekday.
It is worth seeing at least once – and it is very likely that you will not stop at just once.
